Our Mission
To spread the word of the Gospel, to bring to those in
darkness the Light of Life through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To
Worship God the Father in all his wondrous Glory. To be a positive force through
stewardship and community involvement.
Church Profile

The Kearney Union Church is located in the hills of
Bedford county Pennsylvania. The Church was founded in 1907 as "The Kearney
Chapel" and was used by the thriving mining community until the mines closed
down in the middle part of the century. Since then the Church has seen some
low times and a rebirth due in large part to the efforts of Mabel Figard an
original member of the church and has seen renewed growth due to the
expanding population and the care and stewardship of its members.

As we move forward into another century here at the
Kearney Union Church. I must reflect upon the many blessings and miracles we
have been witness to. The Lord has truly smiled upon our little church. We
have over come the loss of loved ones, and have gained a new strength and
understanding of God's love for us. I look forward to the coming years. As
one would lift their face to feel the warmth of the sun, we face our maker
in much the same way. How amazing it is to feel, really feel, the love and
warmth of God here. If you have been here before I urge you to return, if
not we invite you to come worship with us. May God Bless you. |
